Buyers are willing to spend 1-5% more of the dollar value on a staged home than a non-staged home, with an independent survey from Coldwell Banker Real Estate Corp. reporting that staged homes sell for more than 6% above asking price and other responders stated that staging a home increased the dollar value of the home between 6 and 10%, according to the NAR survey.

83% said that TV shows which display the buying process impacted their business, with 10% saying they felt homes should look the way they were staged on TV shows.
